Can we take a moment to share sympathy with Joe Biden who has lost his son Beau?

Vice President Biden’s 46 year old son has died of brain cancer. It is tragic for any parent to lose their child and Biden suffered tragedy earlier when his wife and young daughter died in a car accident. Beau and his brother Hunter were also hurt in that accident. I am saddened that the VP has again suffered profound loss.

A parent shouldn’t have to bury a child. That hurts on so many levels.

I think he is an incredibly strong man and very real, even if tactless at times. My heart goes out to him and his family. It sounds like they had a great relationship. I can’t imagine putting myself in his shoes.

I can’t imagine. Their kids are just 9 & 11 years old ,too.

In 2012 Joe Biden spoke to families who lost a loved one in the military, about loss, and he could speak from experience. It’s a remarkable short speech. Youtube video
