Oh, God no! Not in a karaoke setting, anyway!
The older Ive gotten, the more and more fun I have doing it. In an american society there isnt much connection between strangers. Karaoke helps a smidge.
I love it and do it every chance I get. Some of my favorite songs to do:
One Way or Another by Blondie
99 Red Balloons by Nina
I Want Candy by Bow Wow Wow
And just about any Carpenters song
I love it, and suck at it at the same time.
I love doing my Tom Waits impression, and sing Moon River.
I also love Hell by the Squirrel Nut Zippers.
My daughter goes to a Karaoke place, where it’s free, unless you sing “Don’t Stop Believing”. Then, it’s $5.
I love that you do Tom Waits @filmfann. Though I’m a rare karoker I have never seen his music available though…
