True, but unless a question falls into the reason that they are a celebrity (acting, singing, science, politics, etc.), their opinions are no more or less valid than the opinions of us common folk.

I have considered it but we could speculate until the cows come home and still be wrong.

What am I? Chopped liver? :)

Well, I made the cover of every major newspaper in the country a couple of weeks ago, and I’ve been in the news often enough that there’s a Wikipedia article about me. Is Wikipedia-famous enough for “celebrity” status?

I think there may be a hidden author or two.

@SmashTheState Are you that lady in Kentucky that refused to sign marriage licenses for gay couples?~

Sir, could you be a big name? Can we start guessing?

SmashTheState's avatar

I’m not a “big name” unless you call being a well-known professional shit-disturber “big.” My proudest accomplishment was getting thrown out of prison for organizing my fellow inmates.

^love it

I once shared an elevator with Barry Manilow. Does that count?

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

@dammitjanetfromvegas Yeah, that counts. I shared an elevator with Joan Jett and Tony Randall. He’s a munchkin.

He who Adi? Tony? Joan is an itty bitty, for sure. Tiny little thing for such big sound. Tony Randall is no munchkin though.

Joan looks like she could kill a guy for fun, And Tony is a muchkin, He’s not much over 5 feet tall.

Here2_4's avatar

He was 5’8”. Joan is like elf size.

Barry Manilow is kind of a hero of mine. He’s another class act. I don’t care how much ridicule is heaped upon him (Barely Manenough) he always replies with kindness.

@stanleybmanly I saw Barry Manilow for the first time this year. One of my friends really wanted to see him and invited me along. I was blown away! You should have seen all of the young ladies (in their 20’s and 30’s) hollering and hooting for him. Not to mention all of the fellows. There were people of all ages. My friend and I are in our early 50’s, but there were kids all the way up to senior citizens and he almost sold out a huge arena. He put on one heck of a show. What a treat.

I love Barry Manilow!

All I know is that there are no Kardashians among us – imagine one of them keeping their trap shut.
