What's your take on Randy Quaid? Is he serious about making amends, or is he a total kook?

You may remember that he and his wife left the US and escaped to Canada when they got into legal trouble for house squatting and related issues. news report

Apparently the two of them were about to get thrown out of Canada, so they came back to the US and were promptly arrested over the weekend.

Now Randy Quaid says he wants to get back into movies. (Presumably after he gets out of jail?)

Would anyone in Hollywood hire him after these escapades?

He seems to fit right in with the rest of the Hollywierd. Even though he clearly bit the hand that fed him by describing his once cohorts as…..

“Hollywood star-whackers”
and…“a bunch of crooks.”

Very few actors portray the lunatic fringe on film better than Randy and he will find work again…but he won’t be acting.
