Have you seen the award winning movie The Class?

I watched it in french though my french is horrible, so I am not sure I understood all of it.
What are some themes in that film? Who are some characters that are essential or/and what problems it touches on?

I saw it a long time ago. I think the main theme is about cultural diversity and how immigrant students are integrated (or not) into French society. How the teacher affects them and how they are affected by him.
