Do you know a good, free .VOB converter?

Asked by ScottyMcGeester (1897points) December 3rd, 2015

I’m doing film criticism for Youtube so I need to use clips from this movie. When I rip a movie DVD to my computer, the files are in .VOB format. They are able to translate into my editing software, Adobe Premiere Elements, but for some reason the video is shaky. So I figured I’d convert the .VOB file into something simpler like .WMV or even .AVI.

I went through like five .VOB converters but all of them only convert half of the video because you have to pay to convert the full video. I was able to post at least part 1 of my film criticism since I got the scenes I wanted, but now that I need to use the rest of the movie I’ve run into a snag.

Any other ideas are welcome.

I use FREEMAKE to convert VOBs to AVIs. It’s, uh, free.
