Now that we have established that Democratic presidential candidates pee during debates, is it fair to ask the question - Do Republicans pee?

Asked by elbanditoroso (33158points) December 23rd, 2015

Sanders acknowledged that he peed too: article

Trump seems to think that’s gross and unusual. And the Republicans are keeping mum on Pee-gate.

Are the Republican candidates robotic automatons? Or do they just have big bladders? Or are they full of S*$^t?

See? Trump is DELIBERATELY seeking to plant Hillary in the White House. How I pray that he receives the nomination, so he can insult EVERYONE loudly and often. So far it’s Mexicans, the Chinese, Muslims. Now he’s working on women and the party’s bedrock prostate afflicted old white men. We need a pool on who gets dissed next. My money’s on disabled children!

chyna's avatar

No it’s a disgusting act.

zenvelo's avatar

I would bet that Trump and Huckabee both wear diapers.

Rubio sweats out any moisture, so no issue for him. Cruz is a lizard, so he doesn’t drink enough liquids to need to pee more than once a week.

elbanditoroso's avatar

@chyna – which? Peeing, or Trump?

ibstubro's avatar

I think you give Master Trump too much credit.

Women who disagree with him are traditionally “on the rag”.
Peeing isn’t disgusting women are.

Fox News host Megyn Kelly was attacked when she pressed Trump on whether he was part of the “war on women” because of his past references to females as “fat pigs, dogs, slobs and disgusting animals.
Trump stated afterward that Kelly had “blood coming out of her whatever.”

chyna's avatar

Peeing. According to Trump he thought it was disgusting.

ibstubro's avatar

“You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes,” Trump said during an interview with CNN’s Don Lemon on Friday night. Blood coming out of her wherever.
Nope.
He clearly said/meant “whatever”, which everyone knows means “nose”.

“Where did Hillary go? They had to start the debate without her. Phase two. I know where she went. It’s disgusting. I don’t want to talk about it. No, it’s too disgusting. Don’t say it. It’s disgusting.”
He’s clearly not talking about peeing.
Like The Donald has never touched his schlong in the bathroom?

dappled_leaves's avatar

@ibstubro is right. He wasn’t disgusted by urination. He was disgusted that she is female. He never passes up an opportunity to express his disgust for women.

marinelife's avatar

I think they catheterize and have the podium hide the fact.

ibstubro's avatar

It pisses me off that ANYONE is giving Trump a pass on the menstruation/urination point.

It’s the second time that Trump has attacked a female simply for being female and been let off the hook.
WTF is wrong with people?

kritiper's avatar

Of course they do! And they have to pee to get rid of all that extra piss they’re full of!

filmfann's avatar

@stanleybmanly You forgot his insulting the POW’s and the physically retarded. How did he get away with that?

He finds it disgusting that Hillary had to leave the stage for that.
All the Republican podiums double as a urinal.

rojo's avatar

Well, probably not since they all seem to be full of piss and vinegar.

Don’t Forget: Donald Trump Wants to Bang His Daughter

So he does like the female parts. He just needs a few drinks first and they need to share some chromosomes with him.

ibstubro's avatar

Of course Trump, former stake holder in the Miss Universe pageant and owner of 2 trophy brides, knows what girls are for, @johnpowell.
It’s the curse God put on women that naturally disgusts him, for his Bible tells him so.

Odd that he’s so old school that he’s disgusted by menstruation, yet so progressive that schlong doesn’t mean dick penis to him.

Girls are to make babies. Women are to belittle.

Jaxk's avatar

Wow, they restarted the debate without her. Was no one supposed to notice? Sure Trump comments are somewhat indelicate (they are always) but if you’ve got to pee, do it and get back on time. Everybody else does. Is this another case of ‘we need special rules because she’s a woman’?

chyna's avatar

It takes women longer to pee. They have to cover the seat, pull up their skirt, pull down their panty hose and panties, pee, pull everything back up, skirt down, throw cover in toilet, flush, wash hands, make sure there is no toilet paper on shoe or skirt.
Men unzip, pee, zip, wash hands. That’s it.

rojo's avatar

^^ I think you are being generous there @chyna, many times it is just a three stage process, the fourth one being neglected. ^^

Jaxk's avatar

@chyna – Does that mean you don’t think Hilary knows how long it takes? That she was surprised that she didn’t have enough time? The Republicans have 10 people on stage and a woman as well. Some how they manage to get back on time. Why is Hilary special? When some one doesn’t show up on time it is an obvious statement that their time is more important than yours. She screwed up and we noticed. We didn’t notice because she’s a woman, we noticed because she screwed up.

Dutchess_III's avatar

Who knows why she really left for a moment, @Jaxk? Maybe it wasn’t actually to go pee.

Jaxk's avatar

It doesn’t matter why. It was a nationally televised debate and she was late. People are going to notice a vacant podium.

Dutchess_III's avatar

Of course it matters why! What if she’d been much younger and unexpectedly started her period. Should she stand there for hours, while stains began to grow and spread?
What if Donald Trump had the sharts for whatever reason. Should he be expected to stand there hours, sharting?

rojo's avatar

Fish gotta swim
Birds gotta fly
People gotta pee

stanleybmanly's avatar

@Jaxk I for one don’t fault Clinton and wouldn’t fault even Trump when it comes to plumbing emergencies. There isn’t one of us here who can deny that there are occasions where when you gotta go, you GOTTA go.

stanleybmanly's avatar

I’ve often wondered about the possibilities of “gastric distress” in dealing with with campaign road food. You just know that such episodes must be unavoidable.

Jaxk's avatar

@stanleybmanly – I suspect every one of the debaters uses the toilet during the break. I also suspect every one of them know that they will be doing so before the debate even starts. The fact that she didn’t manage her time well and left a vacant podium in from of 6–7 million viewers shows a certain carelessness that she is prone to. Her reset button was mislabeled, Benghazi wasn’t the video, her emails weren’t protected, etc. Frankly she’s a fuck up and it is a lack of attention to detail that causes it.

I suspect what actually happened was she was chatting with her handlers about how the debate was going and didn’t leave herself enough time to get the job done. Carelessness.

Dutchess_III's avatar

@Jaxk It was obviously unavoidable! Why are you being so nit picky? Would you be doing that if it was Trump who was late?

ibstubro's avatar

He was implying that it took Hillary longer because she is a woman, and women do that “disgusting, disgusting, disgusting” menstruating thing he doesn’t want to talk about.

If he thinks peeing is “disgusting, disgusting, disgusting” then he’s entirely too immature to be in the race.

When the anchor throws to Carly Fiorina for her reaction to Trump’s momentum, Trump’s expression sours in schoolboy disgust as the camera bores in on Fiorina. “Look at that face!” he cries. ”Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?!” The laughter grows halting and faint behind him. “I mean, she’s a woman, and I’m not s’posedta say bad things, but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?”

I posted about Megyn Kelly above.

We all know the things he said about Rosie O’Donnell.

He’s a fucking pig. It knows no boundaries.

This has nothing to do with peeing or being a couple minutes late to the debate. It’s about Donald Trump being a nasty, hateful, misogynistic schlong of a human being.

Jaxk's avatar

@Dutchess_III – Unavoidable is a judgement your making. It was a breach of protocol deserving of ridicule. The ridicule was not because she’s a woman but rather because screwed up. If Trump had done it, I wouldn’t need to ridicule him, you all would be doing it for me. If any other Republican had done it, Trump would have mentioned it as well. You all want to give her a pass because it’s Hilary. That’s your right. I choose not to.

ibstubro's avatar

So you think Trump was referring to “peeing”, @Jaxk? And you agree that “peeing’ is ”“disgusting, disgusting, disgusting”? And you agree that that is proper “ridicule” for someone being late?

Jaxk's avatar

@ibstubro – So you want me to defend Trump’s wording? I really don’t want to do that but I don’t see any reference to Menstrual issues. We all know Hilary is way past that. Discussing someone’s toilet habits is a bit disgusting and differentiating on whether it’s peeing or something even more disgusting (like shitting) is even worse. The question here was an attempt to ridicule all Republicans and to try and bring it down to some sexist remark. It wasn’t and yes she does deserve ridicule for her misstep.

ibstubro's avatar

So, your contention is that if Martin O’Mally has been a minute or to late to get back to the debate, @Jaxk, that Trump would have said:
“Where did Martin go? They had to start the debate without him. Phase two. I know where he went. It’s disgusting. I don’t want to talk about it. No, it’s too disgusting. Don’t say it. It’s disgusting.”

Either Trump is a misogynist pig, or he has the mentality of a 3rd grader. Clearly he does not have the mentality of a 3rd grader.

I’m not a Hillary fan, and I’m not defending or even discussing her, her actions, or her tardiness to the debate.
I’m sick to fucking death of people giving Trump a pass. BOTH sides. “Oh, well, Donald says it was about peeing.” “About how attractive her face is.” “Oh, he meant bleeding out her nose,
Bullshit.
Bullshit.
Bullshit.

I don’t expect you to defend it because it’s indefensible. I agree that the question was off the mark from the outset because DONALD TRUMP WAS NOT TALKING ABOUT “POTTYING” and he’s not a Republican.

elbanditoroso's avatar

@JaxkIt’s pretty offensive of you to put your words in my mouth to make your own (in my opinion) misguided point.

Now that I know how you operate, I will ignore you ad infinitum.

Jaxk's avatar

@elbanditoroso – I’m not sure what you’re talking about. When you said:

“Are the Republican candidates robotic automatons? Or do they just have big bladders? Or are they full of S*$^t?”

I’m sure you meant it in the kindest possible way but even in the kindest possible way, it is ridicule.

Dutchess_III's avatar

It was just another example of Trump being a misogynist asshole. You can defend him till the cows come home, @Jaxk, but it’s not going to change the color of his spots.

He said, “I know where she went, it’s disgusting, I don’t want to talk about it. No, it’s too disgusting. Don’t say it, it’s disgusting…” As @ibstubro said, that does leave one thinking that she was menstruating and I do believe Trump is juvenile and idiotic enough to find something like that “disgusting.” However, I’m 90% sure that she’s long past menopause, so whatever it was, was something that a man might needed to have addressed at the moment too.

Of course, you have never, ever found yourself in a spot and needed an emergency bathroom break, have you @Jaxk. No man ever does or ever will. Only disgusting woman find themselves in that position.

stanleybmanly's avatar

Yes. To label a dash to the restroom a consequence of “poor planning” requires some assumptions that I believe unjustified. The truth is that there’s no guarantee that any of us won’t be hit with an occasional plumbing emergency, and while it may be argued that a prudent candidate might avoid such incidents by living in her bathroom, and participating from the throne, Only Trump had the bad taste to raise the incident as an “issue”.

Jaxk's avatar

@Dutchess_III – You misunderstand my point. I am not defending Trump but rather saying that Hilary screwed up. I can’t believe that you think Trump would have ignored it if Bush had not made it back in time. And yes I have had the same problems but I expect to take flak when it happens. Nobody gets a pass when they screw up.

Dutchess_III's avatar

She “screwed up?” Jesus! I am truly in awe of your utter control over your bodily functions.

Only those with juvenile, middle school mentalities, who giggle over words like “bra,” and “panties,” or those who are poorly bred and low class, would even consider giving some one “flak” over something like that.

Was any other candidate crass enough to bring it up? No. As much as I may dislike them, at least they displayed some dignity, unlike Trump.

I, for one, do not want an impolite, undignified, low class president with a juvenile mentality, especially when it comes to women, which is exactly what Trump is. It’s all he is.

Jaxk's avatar

So does that mean I can’t count on your vote when I run for president?

Dutchess_III's avatar

LOL! Especially not if you make fun of my menstrual pads and my cup size!

stanleybmanly's avatar

She went to the restroom. Screwing up would be relieving herself on stage.

Jaxk's avatar

Did trump make some other remark regarding ‘Cup Size’ or is that just a way of making your point seem valid?

BTW going to the toilet has nothing to do with it. Not making it back before the bus leaves is the issue.

dappled_leaves's avatar

@Jaxk “Not making it back before the bus leaves is the issue.”

Not according to Trump in this statement. That’s what we’re here discussing – his statement about what is “disgusting”. That’s why it’s the issue. I realize you are repeatedly trying to derail the discussion into one about lateness, but lateness is a separate question entirely. If you would like to ask a question about whether or not it is acceptable that Clinton was late, please do so.

Dutchess_III's avatar

Cup size would be mild compared to the stuff he’s said, @Jaxk:

“Fox News’ Megyn Kelly called him out on his sexist behavior during the GOP debate on August 6, reminding him: “You have called women you don’t like ‘fat pigs’, ‘dogs’, ‘slobs’, and ‘disgusting animals.”

…women are essentially aesthetically-pleasing objects. ”

”...sexual assault in the military is totally expected.”

”...bad press doesn’t matter as long as you have a sexy girlfriend. ”

…a woman MUST be hot in order to be a journalist. ”

”...pumping breast milk is “disgusting.”…..OMG! That’s it! Hilary was pumping breast milk!!! No, wait. She was doing something else that only women do, which makes whatever it is “disgusting.”

”....Angelina Jolie has dated too many guys to be attractive. ” (She must have turned him down.)

”....Bette Midler’s “ugly face and body” are offensive. ”

How can you champion this jerk and still hold your head up @jaxk?

Jaxk's avatar

The truth is nothing in his comment was gender specific. No mention of menstrual issues or cup size or breast milk. His comment can be applied to either sex. You all want it to be about women so bad you are making things up. The comment was crass but not sexist. I have no desire to defend Trump, merely pushing back on the bullshit. I think we’re beating a dead horse here.

Dutchess_III's avatar

Trump thinks women are disgusting. It’s pretty obvious, even if you don’t want to see it.

ibstubro's avatar

So, @Jaxk, you believe that had it been O’Malley that was late, Donald would have said:

“Where did Martin go? They had to start the debate without him. Phase two. I know where he went. It’s disgusting. I don’t want to talk about it. No, it’s too disgusting. Don’t say it. It’s disgusting.”

I doubt that Trump has had intimate contact with enough mature women in his life the have an idea whether Hillary is menstruating or not. He’s traded the old model in long before that.

Jaxk's avatar

I have no idea what Trump would have said. I never know what Trump will say. I am however, quite certain that he would have said something and it would not have been flattering.

ibstubro's avatar

Frankly, @Jaxk, you disappoint me, and I think this is indicative of what’s wrong with America today.

There’s no dishonor in calling a misogynist pig a fucking misogynist pig.
Donald Trump is a fucking misogynist pig.
He has inappropriately called out women, young and old, conservative and liberal simply because they are women, and, in his view, inferior.

Context:
“You could see there was blood coming out of [Bill O’Reilly’s] eyes. Blood coming out of his wherever.”
“Look at [Bernie Sander’s] face! Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?! I mean, he’s a man, and I’m not s’posedta say bad things, but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?”
“Where did [Martin O’Malley] go? They had to start the debate without him. Phase two. I know where he went. It’s disgusting. I don’t want to talk about it. No, it’s too disgusting. Don’t say it. It’s disgusting.”

Anyone that can’t acknowledge that those statements are misogynist and inherently wrong, should probably just STFU, because they have zero credibility.

I respect your right to defend a budding sociopath such as Ted Cruz who can at least couch his rhetoric in logic. Trump gets no pass, and he’s putting our country and our troops in greater danger every day that he’s cheered for spewing vile hatred against anything that doesn’t go his way.

Dutchess_III's avatar

@Jaxk that fact that you’re sure he would have said something at all, and that it would have not be flattering, just shows how poorly raised he was. No class. No dignity. None at all. Just the kind of person we want running America.
