Who would be your 2016 write-in candidate?

Asked by ARE_you_kidding_me (20021points) December 23rd, 2015

Who would you write in since this election is just a circus with no real candidates? Have fun with it.

How about hello kitty on the left and Dave Mustaine on the right?

Jerry Brown. He has turned the State of California around, has a balanced budget and California enjoys one of the lowest unemployment rates ever.

Patrick Leahy.

Jerry Brown. He has to be kicking himself, since everyone behind Bernie would be behind him.
I would also love to have Joe Biden in the race.

Elizabeth Warren.

Jimmy Carter

Chris Rock.
I saw an interview with him recently and not only is the dude smart and funny, but he gets it! I’d vote for him in a heartbeat, if he was willing to take on the job.

Elizabeth Warren, oh hell yeah!

Elizabeth Warren is my dream president.

I’d be happy with Elizabeth Warren, too. I was really, really hoping that she’d run.

I’m hoping that she does does plan on eventually running. But maybe she is going to stay in the Senate for a few terms to get some experience.

I too am happy with Sanders, and have no doubt that he has plans for Warren if he makes it.

Include me in the Warren camp.

I encourage Sanders supporters to do a search for her speeches. She is a dynamic speaker, much better than Sanders. Unlike those on the right who poke fun of her academic credentials, I think it would be nice to have as president someone sufficiently knowledgeable about economics to be able to teach it.

Trump would be so fucking hilarious, I can’t bring myself to thinking of anyone else.

@LostInParadise warren is terrific, knowledgable and articulate, and if she were running, I concede that her chances would be much better than Bernie’s. Sanders is no ball of charisma or icon to eloquence, but his take on the systemic failings of our society coincides with my own. And if nothing else his nomination would force the airing of those views. Do you notice how Carson & Trump are constantly in the news and quoted ad nauseum, while Sanders is relegated to virtual non existence? It’s no accident!

He’s as hilarious as your New Dawn Party and National Front.

Haha, true, but they are minority scum organisations with no real voice on the political landscape, but anyway…
