They can not do anything without China’s blessing.
Nor would they want to, because NK has no oil.

They can ignore him as they do now.

South Korea is in the bulls-eye, but Kim Jong Un would be China’s bulls-eye ten seconds later if North Korea through a Hydrogen bomb over the fence. He just like to hear himself boast.

It is nothing more than a bargaining chip that they will try to play for resources.

Laugh. Keep laughing.

Without an effective delivery system – which the Norks do not currently possess – the possession of more and more powerful explosive devices harms no one as much as the Norks themselves.

Al I read through the first article the name of their first intercontinental missile caught my eye; it is called the KN-08. At first glance I thought it was called the KNOB and I thought “How appropriate”.

Can’t we give them smallpox infected blankets or something? It worked last time we tried it.

Too many innocents over there.

Here’s an idea: Let’s send Trump over to meet with Kim Jong Un(holy). Trump is so expert at negotiating (he says over and over), he’d probably come back with an NK endorsement.

More sanctions. North Korea has a long history of not giving a rat’s ass about the well being and quality of life of it’s citizens and Kim Jong Un is no exception. Economic sanctions do affect the citizens of North Korea and there is nothing the citizens can do to affect the actions of it’s leaders. But the new sanctions Obama proposed is targeted at the assets of the ruling elite in North Korea and once they endure enough of a squeeze on their wallets, many of them are sure to voice their objections to the actions of Kim Jong Un.

Hmm… nice thought, @Cruiser, and I don’t doubt there there are some brave souls in NK who might actually mention a complaint or a displeasing thought to Dear Leader, but you can probably count those people on one hand (and then put their heads in a basket).

Not many people “voice their objections” to the Dear Leader.

@CWOTUS
His corpse would drift ashore in Japan on a wooden boat.
Hopefully.

I can’t imagine how horrible life is over there. Reading some of the accounts of people who made it out they basically breed people like cattle for slave labor.

China could cut them off (or possibly orchestrate a coups/assassination).

Multinational joint strike force if North Korea really crosses over the line. Otherwise, just play along with Kim Jong Un’s rhetoric & political gimmick.

The whole world is festering with unhappy souls….but we can be thankful and tranquil and proud, for man’s been endowed with a mushroom shaped cloud, and we know for certain that some lucky day, someone will set the spark off and we will all be blown away.
