Netflix shows question?

Asked by SonnyR (7points) January 11th, 2016

I have a netflix account and want to watch some series, but always when commuting and I don´t have a stable wi-fi. How can I save the shows locally on my laptop and watch them withtout wi-fi?

You really can’t, not legally anyway

Netflix is a streaming service, meaning it requires internet connection to work properly.

They do still have a DVD rental service, for an upcharge on your monthly payment.

You can subscribe to the DVD service and not pay for (or use) the streaming at all.

Moviebox is a Netflix recorder and will record shows, even original series from Netflix. Just start it in the evening and in the morning it´s done, you will have an entire series. Check it out here if you want to: http://audials.com/en/how_to_record_stream_capture_music_videos_movies_from/netflix.html
The whole legal/illegal thing is debatable because as long as you use the recorded files for personal matters, it is ok. It becomes illegal when sharing with 3rd persons. Recording on a vcr because you were unable to watch something at a given time wasn´t illegal either…
