Throughout the year, what pair of shoes do you wear the most?

Asked by msh (4270points) January 17th, 2016 from iPhone

The whole year. What might we find your feet tucked into?
Barefoot is the pair you were born with. Slippers around the house.
What is on your feet is key- Whenever you go out!

Mine would be a quiet Sketchers slip-on. No muss, no fuss.
And you?

Ecco brand shoes for work. An retired pair of New Balance running shoes off work and on weekends.

Teva flip flops from April to November.

Currently wearing these. I got them around March of last year. Only shoes I have worn since. I have fancy shoes I just haven’t had to wear them in a few years.

And when these ones succumb to the weather I will buy another pair. I have worn solid black Etnies for 20 years.

More often than not, it’s a pair of slip-on faux-suede boots that are slightly too big.

I also like those cheap canvas tennis shoes. Sometimes I paint them with fun designs.

I’m a sneakers girl, so either New Balance or whatever I have currently.

What an opportunity to dump TMI. I have a closet full of casual/dress shoes that need to get tossed because they are left over from my days living with my shopaholic ex-gf. Also, I’m back to my heavier weight, which means only certain dress clothes fit. So that has me wearing a pair of black lace up Rockports just about every day. Nice thing about them is that they are waterproof, they cost me $10 at Goodwill, and they were basically new when I got them.

Some kind of running/walking shoe. Brand not important, comfort of fit is.

I have a pair of Chucks that I wear often.

And in the Summer, flip flops.

I just stopped routinely wearing a pair of 6.0s that I had since I was a kid (when they were in style). The sole was ripping off and there were holes on the sides where your foot bends. I still frequently wear my callicuts with alternating laces, also from when they were in style when I was a kid. It finally snowed here, so I broke out my boots for the first time today.

I spent the majority of my college days in a pair of US Army jungle boots that looked very much like this pair most of the time. I used them for class, caving and after school activities. Wore them ‘till there were holes in the toes then, once the duct tape came off a second time, got a new pair for a couple of buck at the Army Surplus store.

‘Course this was back in the Seventies when there were loads of these things floating around.

I don’t wear any shoes unless I absolutely have to. I have a pair of canvas deck shoes I bought at WalMart for $7.00 which I wear when walking. I often put on slippers when I get cold at night. I just bought a pair of Isotoner booties with fur around the top for my birthday.
