What's a good replacement for the iPhone headset?

Asked by clari0n (52points) July 19th, 2007 from iPhone

Apple earbuds never fit in my ear. Is there a set of canalphones that replicate the online call answer/track forward button? Or would anyone recommend earjams or some similar method of making them more usable?

not yet, that I know of. But watch out for iPhone labeled stuff. The at&t; store was selling Shures that were supposedly for the iPhone but without the inline play/pause/fforward button. $100 number.

the Shures sound awesome. Don't miss the button at all.

Are they canalphones? I have a hard time getting regular earbids to stay in my ear. Also, do they plug in without the use of an adapter?

Do a search on YouTube for "iPhone earbud replacement". It is a great video that shows you can have your cake (the inline button) and eat it too (with better fit).

i really am ejoying the v-moda vibe duo's. They include a mic for the phone (although not as loud as the mic on the included earbuds), it the fit and tone of these iem's are great! Only minor inconvenience is the slight microphonics you hear when the cloth cords rush against your Clothing (I'd when exercising) it only noticable when music is at a low volume. Paid $89 foe them and worth every penny!
