Guys, have you ever engaged in "Manscaping" and if so, what let up to your decision to do so?

Manscaping –
verb (used with or without object), manscaped, manscaping.
1. (of a man) to remove (unwanted body hair other than scalp hair) by waxing, shaving, etc.: It may be time to manscape your hairy back again.

I think this means more than a haircut and trimming the beard and ‘stache.

Last night I shaved some of my belly hair and a little bit here and their. I was itchy and needed relief from swelling.

Hubby thins out his chest hair three or four times a year. He uses the hair clippers. In this house of long-haired metal heads and hippies, it’s the only work the poor machine can look forward to.

I am in Florida now staying at the house of friend who has a magnificent pool.
I shaved everything. E.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g!
It is freeing.

Haha, @LuckyGuy – I read that as “freezing”...

Nope, I’m hairy the way my genetics intended.

@ARE_you_kidding_me I must admit things looks do look sportier (longer and wider) when they’re fully visible and uncamouflaged. Maybe that’s why 93% (est.) of all porn displays only bald bits.

Unless you’re directly related to Sean Connery or have an annual income above $300k hairy backs and butts are not at the top of most women’s desirability list. (est.)

No, I’m happy with the way my body is naturally. The only body hair I remove is under arm hair, due to the stretching I do in yoga.

Never bothered with it. But then again, I’m not all that furry.

Yes, I shave certain areas. Why? Because I hate body hair.

Scissor trim around the schlong every once in a while ‘cuz it makes the poor guy look bigger. And he needs all the help he can get.

Hair does not convey touch. So, less hair = more sensuosity.

LOL @cookieman. Literally!

I scissor trim my groin, too. I tried shaving, but there were too many razor bumps, and it was too prickly and itchy when it started growing out.
It’s sexy and freeing at first, as @LuckyGuy says, then there are days and weeks of crotch itch. No thanks.

A little bit of moisturizer takes care of burns, bumps and itching just fine.

I blade shave my entire torso, enhances my newly defined six pack, never had back hair.
When the fancy takes me I shave my pubes, balls & all with a razor, concentrates the mind.
Makes my cock look like a startled snake after a forest fire, handsome, but slightly comical.

Trimming and plucking here and there, yes. Wide-area carpet removal, no.

Oh yea it’s definitely standard now. It seems more people are grossed out by excessive hair. Manscaping also shows an initiative to stay hygenic.
