Yes. But that is more likely with Ted “I will carpet bomb them” Cruz.

The answer to most “could” questions is a “yes” because mostly anything is possible, so anything could happen.

Nah, that would be bad for business. Now, if Cruz’s Christianity is really the one, true religion, then Jesus will protect those of us who are saved when Cruz nukes all the evil empires around us. The saved have nothing to worry about. The nukes will fly, the rapture will come and the saved will all safely go to heaven to be with Daddy God.

I give it a solid 10% chance. For example: he might have ordered the Navy to shoot down the Russians who buzzed our ships. (Rather than grabbing electronic signal data that can and will be used for IFF identification at a later date.)

Trump has no scruples in the business world . That how he made is fortune. He had is businesses declare bankruptcy 4 times while he walked away with 4 billion by screwing the people who: lent him money, did work for him, sold him products, gave him tax breaks, supplied utilities, arranged land deals, etc.
He’d make sure he’d personally would profit from a war – as would Putin.
They did not get to be that rich by helping the poor or educating those that need help, or working in a soup kitchen. They both look at the world as a way to grab more wealth for themselves.

We’re probably already in WWIII, they just haven’t named it for the history books yet.

Seems unlikely. This comes up occasionally. They worried about Reagan and Goldwater. It’s a neat trick to try and created fear in the population to help win an election. War is more likely when you appear weak rather than when you appear strong.

I worried about that happening under Bush. Sure, there is a chance with Trump. Although, I think with Trump it’s more likely some bombs get dropped, or we lose relations with some governments, but not a world war.

Impossible to predict. Trump knows a lot of the wealthy movers and shakers, so who knows.

Of course he could. Any President could do it.

Yep definitely. Pick a hot spot, any hot spot.
As an example I’ll say “the Middle east.”
Here’s how it can play out. Trump puffs out is chest and says “America first! We’re tending to our own. Screw the rest of the world.” A lunatic Iranian cleric figures Israel is now unprotected by the Great Satan. He pays a group of radicals to set off one of the dozen or so nukes they have hidden since 2004, and torch a piece of Israel. Israel responds brutally pissing off Russia which threatens to destroy all oil and water infrastructure feeding Israel… and so it goes.
North and South Korea?
Sudan-istan?
China, Tibet, Nepal?.
The Isles of Chinese Trash causing stress in Vietnam, Philippines, Taiwan, ...?
Ukraine?
Poland?
Kuwait?
And the random Black Swan which will no doubt raise its ugly head.

Give him a year so he can quietly switch his assets out of failed hotels and into military munitions and then watch out.

Oh here we go. I see in the paper today the Trump the loon said Japan and South Korea should develop nukes to deter and counter fellow loon, Kin Jong-un of North Korea.
Yep. Let’s add more fuel to a hot spot.

And right now he is just a buffoon candidate. Imagine if he was seriously in power and had his stubby fingers on the button.
About the only positive thing I can say about him is he does have a hot wife.
