Couldn’t get into it.

About 20 minutes in, my son said, “this is stupid, can we watch something else?”

I agreed completely, so we never bothered again.

I like Mulan and Sleeping Beauty, anyway.

@FlutherBug Your question is totally fine.

I liked Frozen. The technology they developed for animating snow and ice was really well done, and I thought the plot and message were great for kids. I’m older than the target audience (I was in my early 20’s when it came out) but I’m a sucker for animated Disney movies.

I thought it was pretty bad.

It was OK. I loved the dresses worn by Anna. I like the song “Let it go” even though I’ve heard it a billion times. I loved the snowman and the reindeer.

The story, itself, was kind of weird. Why did it take all of that destruction for Elsa to figure out how to stop the ice touch? Too much bad sh*t had to happen first.

It gave me the chiils.

Look, it was a kids’ movie – I watched it with by grandkids and they enjoyed it. They like the songs.

Is their some subtle deeper meaning to the movie? Who knows, and who cares?

There are some definite leaps of logic, but I don’t know any Disney movie that doesn’t have some leaps.

Left me cold.

It left me wondering why in Disney animation there is so much facial variation in male characters but none at all in female characters.

I loved it!
Best non-Pixar Disney animation in years!

I loved it, but it makes me sad that Disney always goes about killing parents. What the hell?

It was okay, and well done in some ways, but I thought it was lazy (or not very thoroughly thought-out) and disappointing and generic in several ways. The city’s industry is all based on ice blocks?

Now Zootopia, on the other hand, I really liked. I am a sucker for animals.

Avoided it, you could say I let it go…hahahahahahahahahaha <hiccup>

It actually wasn’t a bad storyline, I loved the different messages you could pull out from it.
Like it is really super dumb to marry a guy you met 5 minutes ago, chances are he wants to kill you.
But really, I love the fact that they didn’t give elsa a boyfriend/husband, and left her single, and as a queen. And I really do hope the hashtag: #GiveElsaAGirlfriend prevails, because that would be cute, and teach such a valuable lesson to everyone!

But the bloody songs…

I loved Olaf.

I thought it was cute. Among the elementary school age girls, it was and still is a huuuuge hit.

If you go to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a real hit is the Frozen Singalong. At the end it snows and everyone is singing “Let it Go” and many people are crying tears of joy. Apparently it touches people.
