Do you know anyone that doesn’t mind you doing better, just so long as you are not doing better than them?

Asked by Hypocrisy_Central (26879points) September 12th, 2016

I have seen people in the past who would act like they were happy for someone else’s wedding, promotion, or a good day at the casino, etc. but behind the scene grumble about it or have something less to say in private than they said in public. Almost as if they are OK with someone doing better but if that someone is doing better them, they do not have as much happiness for it. Do you know or have known someone like that?

Haters….

“Haters wanna hate.”

Oh yes but this person minds and shows it every opportunity she gets, certainly not a question of keeping up appearances, she DOES mind openly and obviously and would probably throw a banquet if I were ever diagnosed with a terminal illness. As for me? I act as if such people don’t even exist!
