Will you squander your extended lurve or use it judiciously?

Asked by Hypocrisy_Central (26879points) October 1st, 2016

Seeing Andrew said in a future round of code updates he would extend the lurve you can give to each Flutheronian, when that point happens, are you going to go wild with the lurve, Atta boys to anyone who agreed with you or set a dig to someone who annoys you, or will you use it with extreme prejudice only for answers and comments that were truly good, insightful, witty, etc.?

Sorry to be off topic, but I can’t post a question so I have to put it here. Is “Ask a Question” not working?

^ It is working for me, I asked this one….

It hasn’t been working for me for 2 days.
I give all the lurve that I can, no plan to change that anytime soon.

Lurve Fairy will remain the Lurve Fairy. Welcome to Fluther, where everything’s made up and the points don’t matter.

If it doesn’t matter for anything at all, why give any?

I usually give GAs if I agree, or if the response is genuine. I will give a GA to something I don’t agree with if it’s honest, and relevant to the thread.

I try not to over do it. Otherwise it would lose whatever value it has to others.

The fact I have more won’t change my distribution, but will cause me pause before doling it out, because it is finite.

I usually only give GA to answers I like.

I lurv giving Love I’m a lurver…...hence the name!

I give it out regardless of the limit. To me, the limit has nothing to do with anything. If I like a question or an answer, I give it lurve. Not with abandon, but I give it out when something strikes my fancy.

I had no idea there was a limit, so it would not change my behavior. I only consider the score for a very new person, where I am more likely to give a point to encourage more participation.

I think I’ll continue to toss them at anything that is witty or otherwise appealing.

I believe in Free Lurve. If you ask me for my Lurve, I’ll likely give you my Lurve.
