Can you help me come up with a name for a soft toy?

Asked by Stinley (11525points) October 26th, 2016 from iPhone

We need to name a reindeer toy for a group mascot. It needs to go with the word reindeer and ranger and preferably female or unisex, not male since it’s an all girl group.

I look forward to the flutter brilliance!

Caribou!?

It would help to have a visual of the toy and to know more about what it’s representing.

So far all I’ve got is Cloven, as in cloven hooves which is a characteristic of a deer or reindeer/caribou. Though that sounds a bit male, so you could remove the ‘n’ and go with Clove or cut it in half to get Clover.

Alta (It’s a town in Northern Norway where there are lots of Sami people who heard reindeer) If you don’t like that one, I’d take out a map of Norway and Sweden and look for cool sounding place names. (I’m happy to help with the pronunciation if any look weird.)

“Rein the deer” or “Reina the deer”. I personally like “Naughty Reindeer” as it gives personality and curiosity toward the toy. Or just call it “Chopper the 2nd” (they’ll get the idea soon).

Don’t name it Lap Dancer.

I like Reina! That is so sweet with the female substantive.
