Will Trillain Astra be free when released?

I have been waiting for a long time for Trillian Astra. I was just wondering if it was going to be free or not. Because Trillian 3 has a basic or pro offer. Will Astra be like this?

Cerulean Studios (publisher) has not yet announced their plans for a Pro/Basic system similar to Trillian 3.

The blog that they maintain doesn’t indicate that there is any separation of features akin to a Pro/Basic tier structure. They have however indicated that the installer for Trillian 3 Basic now has “opt outs” for other services (something from Yahoo, and others) that pay part of their bills. This may also pay the bills for a single build (feature complete) of Astra.

Regardless of any for-fee software, I would be surprised if there was no “Basic” SKU similar to Trillian 3, however.

Like blastfamy said, there are no info about that, but in they registration for the alpha they asks for the PRO account username.
