Is Excel 2013 supposed to lead you Transpose for converting vertical to horizontal list, if not what does?

Is Excel 2013 supposed to lead you Transpose for converting vertical to horizontal list, and vice versa?
I know this instruction doesn’t mention Excel.
https://www.extendoffice.com/documents/excel/2718-excel-vertical-to-horizontal.html
“1. Select a vertical list or horizontal list you want to convert, and then press Ctrl + C keys simultaneously to copy the list.”
“2. Select a blank cell which you want to locate the converted list.”
“3. Then click Home > Paste > Paste Special. See screenshot.”

After clicking the drop down menu under “File” (not Home) I get “Special Paste”, and clicking that should produce dialog box that includes Transpose. But all I’m getting is the dialog box that only has “Text”, “Unicode text” etc., So, how do I get the dialog box with Transpose in it, whether it’s Excel 2013 or something else?

You can just type =transpose( then highlight your cells

After copying a column, I highlighted a cell, then clicked on Edit>Paste Special> and a menu came up with Transpose at the bottom, and it worked great. I am running an older version of Excel for Mac.

@ARE_you_kidding_me Type ”=Tanspose” where?
@zenvelo Ok. Why doesn’t the above instruction take me to the one with Transpose though?

Does this article help you? I have Excel 2010 so can’t try it out.

@Stinley Thanks but that’s almost the same instruction as the one in my OP.
