I wouldn’t say it was close to my heart but the one where I was in a movie theater with a single’s group on V-Day and my Ex-husband walked in with his new girlfriend was certainly the most memorable!

((( ♥ ))) @janbb. :(

I guess my most memorable was the last one. Rick bought lobster and steak filet, and grilled them both on the grill. My gosh that was good.

Third grade, my mom bought valentines for the whole class and teacher. Without a written list I named all members of the class and addressed all the envelopes. There were 24 other students in class.

Ugh…very memorable, but not for any good reasons.

I was in my final year of college. My long-term boyfriend had graduated a year ahead of me, and I’d broken-off our relationship and moved forward with my life. I had a new, and very serious, guy in my life. Ex-boyfriend was a fond memory but ancient history.

Ex-boyfriend, who hadn’t given up on us yet, contacted our favorite pizzeria and ordered a heart-shaped pizza. The shop’s owner called to tell me that he had a gift for me, and could I please stop by to get it. When I arrived, there was the pizza…along with a photographer and reporter from the local newspaper. It was too awkward to refuse graciousness, and I would have seemed like a complete jerk if I’d done so. I played along.

The next morning, there was a big picture of me on the front page of the newspaper, holding that stupid pizza and smiling uncomfortably. The caption had my name. I refused to give the reporter my ex-boyfriend’s name, though, and made him refer to “a friend.” Ex-boyfriend and I weren’t getting back together, and I wasn’t going to let us be publicized as sweethearts.

The day we brought Ollie home. He was our Valentine’s doggy. He was such a little cutie.

It was this year (2017) my EX got me a box of chocolates even know we weren’t dating. I was so surprised that she still loved me. (she said that she still loved me even know she had a new boyfriend)
