If you have had a brand what do you want your brand remembered for?

Asked by neonlight (164points) February 13th, 2017

In today’s social media world where stories are at the heart of communications, you have to position your brand across a variety of attributes and ensure that they are infused with your story. As this is the case, if you have had a brand what do you want your brand remembered for?

From a brand perspective, the challenge is to leverage the organic product, company, employee and customer stories that are part of their history and DNA and keep them going over time.

I do all of that in your last paragraph. We have great products, great service, great customers and really happy employees and I try to weave all of the elements into our online experience. We have customer endorsements, pictures and videos of customer projects done with our products, pictures of employees doing their jobs even pictures of our huge mixers painted with the Cubs logo this past summer. My social media director has really engaged our customers with our website blog, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and it is paying off with increased traffic to our website and increased orders and inquiries. She also last year joined LinkedIn and already has hundreds of connections with more than a few new customers thanks to just that alone.

Its ability to help people communicate. I do not have any specific product in mind, but I am interested in the education process, which we still know so little about. I just heard a story on the radio about using mime to help those who are autistic to be able to read body language. I thought that was a rather interesting idea.
