Random OS crashes when updating App Store apps; what happens is in the middle of an update, the iPhone suddenly reboots, only to become frozen on the startup “white apple” logo. It seems to be in an endless loop causing a kernel panic of some sort, with no remedy other than to do a complete and full “wipe” and restore from iTunes. That process takes many minutes, and the more apps you have the longer it takes to restore. The last time it happened it took nearly three hours to get the phone back to default. Ouch!

Hopefully the next firmware (2.1) will correct this blatant error, which never happened before 2.x (even jailbroken 1.1.4 never crashed like this!).

That and really poor battery life from poor power management, apparently from the radios switching between 3G and EDGE.

I would answer this, but safari has just crashed AGAIN. (Okay, so I’m not really on my iPhone and I am answering, but safari crashes at least once every time I use it and it drives me insane!)

when the person you are calling hangs up the phone app says call failled. it didn’t fail, they hung up – people do that.
