From looking at interviews, he seems to think it will be different this time. Also the Fox blog basically promised not to cancel before the end of the first season and acknowledged the horrible problems with Firefly and how it was handled, so I have hope.

I know nothing of what you speak. I did look at the Firefly website and it looks pretty cool, especially since Ron Glass is in it. It will take some reading to figure out what you are all excited about, but I will tune in to Dollhouse if you say so….

I saw Serenity before I even knew about firefly, and it became one of my favorite movies. Then I saw firefly in its entirety, and now its definitely one of my favorite shows of all time.

Do you remember the episode called Safe, the one where they deliver the cattle and then Simon is kidnapped, along with River, because the people want a doctor? Captain Tightpants has to make the decision to leave them because Shepherd Book had been shot and they needed to get him help ASAP? Then they come back to find Simon and River, just as River is about to be burnt at the stake, when Mal and Zoe come in to save them making them BDH, which is short for big damn heroes. Please, please tell me you remember that episode Tantigirl is about to curl up in the corner in the fetal position sucking on her thumb because mrswho doesn’t remember what BDH is…

Yeah!!! I have a good explanation! I moved recently and misplaced all my DVDs, so its been a few years since I’ve seen that episode! My memory is problematic, no power in the verse seems to help it. Forgive me please :D

Count me in. I watched the series from the very beginning, and the movie. I have everything on CD.

I’m not sure about Dollhouse, just because it’s the same actor doesn’t mean it will be anywhere near as good as the stories and writing was on Firefly.

@YARNLADY You love the series and the movie, so therefore, by definition, I love you!!! I also agree about Dollhouse. Not impressed by it all I’m afraid.

Love that show! Only found it on Hulu long after it was over. I think I watched the whole series in three nights. Love it!
