Can you guess who arrived this morning?

Yes, that’s right ladies and gents, Max made his appearance early this morning at 5 o’clock. He weighs 7 lbs, 10 oz, is 20 inches long and he has light brown hair. dragonflyfaith had an easy labor, and gave birth without a single drop of medication for pain. Mother and son are doing great, and Daddy is napping with them at the hospital.
My son-inlaw called last night at 11:30 to tell me they were admitting her, and I haven’t slept a wink since. I’m going to take a nap then go to the beach for the day. After dragonflyfaith gets home and sets up a photobucket account, we will have pictures to share.
Once we determine who was the closest in guessing his birthdate, we will share the link with the winner. Then we’ll post it for anyopne who wants to take a peek.

Wow! Congratulations, Scamp. I know how you feel. You are going to have so much fun with him. Just wait until he first calls you “Grandma.”. Your heart will sing! And there is always something special about your first! I’m so happy for you.
But next time give us a chance to guess. I mean you as us to guess something and then just blurt out the answer in your comments! I was ready to guess the prophet Elijah.

Thanks everyone! I’m up from my nap and now I am off to Seaside Hieghts to celebrate. I’ll pop back in here when I get back!
Have fun! I bet it will be crowded! A friend of mine is at the beach in Mantoloking, and says hard anyone is there… I don’t think there’s a Boardwalk, though.
Mazel tov, Scamp and dragonflyfaith! Have enjoyed responding to both your posts; never knew you were related! Magical days….I still remember the high vividly and am looking forward to being a Grandma eventually.
BTW, I live in Monmouth County. It’s a great day for the beach!

Great, I leave fluther for ONE day, and such a big thing happens. Haha j/k! Congratulations to both scamp and dragonfly ! I can’t wait to see little Max and am happy to know that he is a healthy baby what more could a person want, right? dragonfly is home with her little bundle and they are doing well. cheebdragon was the winner in this thread, so when dragonfly is able to load some pics to her photobucket she will get the first peek, and then she will share with everyone. He’s a cutie patootie!! I’m going to see them in 9 days, and I can’t wait!!
