What do you think of Google's 'Lively' compared to other virtual worlds like Second Life?

Asked by bluemukaki (4332points) August 29th, 2008

I’m mostly doing a comparison between Lively and Second Life, personally I think Lively has it almost right as far as a virtual world can be set up (useless for sharing documents, mainly for 3D structures (or in Second Life’s case porn). Do you think Lively could actually have a use? Also it seems to run much better than Second Life for me (plus you can embed them in websites). Any other comparisons/ resons why one is better than the other?
I like how Lively doesn’t join rooms over a worldwide ‘map’ which means you can’t just stumble from one house into a sex club.
