Asked by Yesican (28points) August 30th, 2008

I am a member of a small group of people who have an opportunity to buy mined ore from Colombia S.A. at a below average cost,I have buyers but need to be able to purchase the product first. How to find investors?

I’d try the Bank first

Then the Rich uncle who doesn’t have kids (rich relatives?)

Then there are the investment Sites you can go to where a bunch of people lend you money (but the percentage is really high)

Do you own a house/condo/Apt???

I’d say it really depends how much money you need.

you can always bring on a “partner”

also all this depends on your credit score off course, if you have a good credit score it should be really easy getting loans. (and the good thing about getting loans is that you don’t have to give the bank any percentage of the profits)

OH, and try Federal Credit Unions (their rates are WAY lower than banks)

I’d seriously recommend that you place advertisements in publications that potential investors might read.

The only thing I can recommend beyond that, is to make sure that when you are seeking investors, that you have complied with all of the SEC regulations regarding that.

A friend of mine did not do that thoroughly (before seekig the investors) and he had a few “uncomfortable moments” with the SEC.
