Why does the cgi characters in Matrix Reloaded are so crappy?

the cgi characters in Matrix Reloaded look so false, the shoulders seem too wide and the arms too short…

well maybe they had the toys renders before the movie,... and they needed to sold the action figures. So they made two more movies XD
