Is there a css/html coding app for iPhone/iPod touch?

Asked by dingus108 (233points) September 15th, 2008 from iPhone

I want to write css and HTML code on the go, and I was curious if there was one for iPhone. Something along the lines of notepad++ or textmate.

How about mobile textedit ? That should get you where you’re trying to get. It’s not perfect, but it’s the only thing I found. You’ll also need mobile finder for it to work.

There might be an official one in the store, but all I know of is the 2.x jailbreak gTextEdit. It works well and lets you see your files too.

Funny, I actually had the same desire and started to create my own web app for that exact purpose. Never finished it though.

@Anaphase I don’t have an Iphone, but on FF it works pretty well. Except the save part. But it’s definitely lightweight. Nice on.

You should finish it and even try getting it in apple’s webapp page. I tested it on an iPhone, and everything but the save feature works. I’m guessing that that is what you didn’t finish?

@Eambos, tWrex: yeah, that was when I just stopped working on it because I figured it was too impractical. Meh.
