Why does DOG feces turn WHITE?

Have you ever noticed that OLD Dog POOP turns white?
Why?
and
Are certain breeds exempt?

It is the remaining calcium. The rest of the stuff dissolves over time. For some reason I remember being asked this question before. But I don’t think it was here.
