Are most illegal aliens registered to vote?

Is this a serious question? You must be a citizen of the United States to vote. Plain and simple. Where do you get your “concern”, from the Heritage Foundation?

No, not legal to register to vote. You need a SSN. And I don’t know if “illegal aliens” is quite PC anymore…but I’m not goingo to get into a debate about semantics here.

I only ask because it seems neither party will do anything about them! I was wondering if politicians somehow had something to gain by turning a blind eye.

I don’t get why this is such a stumper. It’s not really a matter of turning a blind eye, so much as not campaigning to those individuals. The candidates are not making political appearances in Turkey or France or Zimbabwe or even Sweden because residents of those countries don’t vote in US elections. Individuals who are not US citizens can not vote and therefore the candidates have no need to campaign to them.

You do, however, need to be a U.S. citizen. Surprisingly, thousands of people fall between these two criteria.

why isn’t it pc to call them what they are? there’s no other law in the US that you can break for 30 years and have it be socially acceptable…

Emily: Either party can throw them OUT! If you want to come live the American dream, become a US citizen! Don’t just come here, get a free education, get paid “under the table”, get free medical treatment, and NOT pay taxes. Some do, good for them. Most don’t, and I’m tired of people just talking about it and doing NOTHING. Illegal Alien IS PC. It’s what they are.
