we use http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/MediaWiki
There is a macro where users can convert MS Word documents to Wiki “code”, non-technical users will find this very useful. http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Word_macros
All they have to do is run the macro and paste the output to the wiki.

Thanks. I do have experiences with MediaWiki, but it is not suitable for regulated industry, because it doesn’t have proper users access management (groups, premissions). Do you have any other idea?

Thanks for MS Word convertion idea!

The mediawiki we are using seems to have Groups/Namespaces where certain users from certain groups are allowed to edit certain pages etc.

I am pretty sure what you are looking for is possible in MediaWiki (group persmissions etc). There is a user rights management page: https://wiki.companyb.com/index.php/Special:Userrights

Note: I do not know how to set the groups as this is assigned to another guy I work with…
