You basically just soak it in the peroxide, and it in a sense bleaches your hair. I wouldn’t recommend dying your hair with peroxide though. VERY bad for your hair, very easy to mess up, and peroxide is messy and even dangerous if you inhale enough of it.

I’d suggest just going out and buying a case of hair dye for 6 bucks. They use a lot of the same chemicals, but at least you’ll have the gloves and stuff. And it probably won’t be as concentrated.

I had a friend do this and it burned her hair so bad that she had to cut it all off. Not a good idea!

I’ve been dying my hair since I was 16 (many, many moons ago).
Get hair color from the store; don’t use straight peroxide. It will not only ruin your hair, but burn your scalp as well.
