Why is it not possible to upload a Fluther avatar photo from your iPhone?

Searched and had trouble finding an explanation. Almost as annoying as not being able to text photos from your iPhone. Almost.

(It’s retched! Completely inconvenient and incredibly hampering – AND, when other people text pictures to you, you have to go to a website to download them with a crazy username and password you have to write down…argg!)
