Wiring plans for iphone?

ok so i had a slightly insane idea just now that i cant wait to try in the lab tomorrow. ive decided to take apart one of my ipod cables with the intention of creating a solar panel charger. i cant find a wiring diagram of the iphone on google and i would hate to just test connections and short out my phone. anyone have some info that could help?

i decided after looking at that bike thing it would just be easier to power a usb slot and plug in an unmodified ipod usb cable
