Significance of Brad Pitt Laugh?

Asked by Unit134679 (96points) November 6th, 2008

Curiosity gets the best of me sometimes:

It seems to me that there is some signifance behind Brad Pitt’s laugh. I haven’t seen much of his work (or laughter for that matter). Perhaps the style of laughing or, taking into account his persona, seeing him laugh different?

Or am I just creating something in my mind?

I’m think his laugh is like a signature. Nobody else laughs like he does. His giggle is one of a kind as well.

He’s unbelievably gorgeous… I thought his laugh would be more sexy…

Oh lord, my friend actually told me I have the same sounding laugh as him the other day, girl’s voice obviously…still weird.

I always thought he had a goofy laugh, significant? Nah.

Maybe that’s just his fake laugh…

yeah, just sorta sounds like a forced/fake laugh to me

In some of the clips in that video, the laughs sounded forced. However, I think that was part of the point – the character was being insincere, so that laugh was appropriate. A slight change in the pitch and breathiness of the laughter made it sound more natural.

The vid kind of messes with you, though. I mean, when you slow the laughter down it just sounds more and more robotic.

I think that’s his “acting” laugh. It might be what he sort of sounds like if he was laughing naturally, but it seems from the clips that it’s part of the role he’s playing.
