I lost my Verizon phone, but a friend can give me her old one. Do you know how I can get it connected to my phone number and account? Thanks!

I think that you may be more helpful than Customer Service….

Unfortunately, you’re going to need Customer Service to do it in the end, I fear.

Call your service provider to shut your older phone and switch your number to this new/old phone, I think they will want some info from you like what’s your account number and new phones sim card number

Thanks, guys! Do you know if they would charge me for this?

They most likely will charge you, how much is entirely up to them.

When my son had to do this two years ago, it was $20 for the switch with verizon if we did it in-store. If we called customer service (which we did) there was no charge. I think, however, that it depended on the fact that my son was using one of my old phones that I had previously gotten from verizon, so they had that info already about the phone. It wasn’t as difficult as I thought it was going to be. Good luck!
