What shoes do you get for indoor track?

im doing indoor track for the first time, im confused into what shoes to get, should i get asics and get them for running?

When I ran indoor track for high school and college I had two different shoes. I had shoes for for training and shoes for racing with removable spikes. The best thing for you to do is to go to a running store and have them look at your stride and figure out the best shoe for you especially for the distance you run.

That last answer was great. Make sure your race shoes are as light-weight as possible and that they are intended for the distance you run or events you do.
