Who are the people in the Bright Eyes video "First Day of My Life"?

If you haven’t seen it, it’s an amazing music video. I mean, I’m not a very sensitive guy, and I come near crying every time I see it. Just find a quiet place and listen to the lyrics while you watch;

But my question: how can I find out who those people are? I know that one of them is a semi-famous critical/gender theorist, but I don’t know which one. Also isn’t the young man with black hair and cut-off mittens a famous musician? Any ideas where I can find a cast list?

Have you tried wikipedia or imdb? They’re my first sources for such info; or the Bright Eyes website… brb…

I’m not finding anything else, but there are several fan sites out there for Bright Eyes and Conor Oberst, the singer/songwriter who heads the band, so if you dig or perhaps post this questin on one of those sites, you’ll probably find more.
