Why the hell didn’t a huggles: a hybrid of hugs and snuggles make it in? I’ve never used it before, but sure will now.

HUGGLES FOR ALL

El_Cadejo's avatar

Seriously i saw huggles and thought thats such a better word.

Hahahaha omg I made up the word huggles. When I was little. It was an accident. No one had ever heard it before. IT’S SO MY WORD!

lynzeut's avatar

I personally like jargonaut

peedub's avatar

I was really rooting for shart.

chyna's avatar

@richardhenry thanks, I seriously needed a huggle today.

cookieman's avatar

My mother in law has been using “meh” for decades now. And she’s a little old lady from Italy.

La_chica_gomela's avatar

what does shart mean?

and what the hell was “argonaut, a fan of jargon” doing with frenemy and huggles? people actually say the last two. i have probably had like 2 opportunities to say argonaut in my entire life, and both of the occurred in linguistics class, which basically doesn’t count.

i like frenemy and huggles better than “meh” for that matter. meh, what a lifeless word…

lynzeut's avatar

@ La chica it’s Jargonaut. And I think it’s funny.

Shart is when you fart but accidentally shit.

La_chica_gomela's avatar

lyznet, thanks, that was a typo, i just copied and pasted it.
oh, ick.

richardhenry's avatar

@lynzeut: I would love to see that description, as-is, in the dictionary.

El_Cadejo's avatar

@la chic think juggernaut of jargon

lynzeut's avatar

I do like the word “shart” when I was growing up we called “hershey squirt” Shart is far more clever.

how do I end up in all of the discussions about poo? Maybe I should add it to my expertise

La_chica_gomela's avatar

thanks uber. i get it though. i really do. i just don’t see it as a very useful word. i don’t walk around describing people who love jargon all day. i talk about hugs and cuddling like every 5 seconds. maybe that’s just me. maybe other ppl think usefulness is irrelevant. me, i think the word is irrelevant. i don’t know.

loser's avatar

I like the way it falls out of my mouth, almost like by accident.

lynzeut's avatar

La chica I see your point, the other words would get used more it’s just kind of funny they made up some jargon to discribe someone who uses jargon.

El_Cadejo's avatar

@la chica i agree jargonaunt is a pretty useless word. Huggles is wayyyyy better.

augustlan's avatar

My ex and I used Huggles for years! It’s a nearly perfect word : )

tigran's avatar

You can find huggles and all other morphed words in the urban dictionary
haha the list on the left is really funny
