Do you know what you are going to get for Christmas?

Except for a few things, my mom and I have decided to adopt soldiers and put our Christmas funds towards making care packages for them as well as my cousin who is a marine in Iraq.

We actually picked it up yesterday. It was a beautiful water color painting that we had commissioned.

I asked my daddy for Richard Pryor but we’ll see…

@kat, that is a wonderful idea! I applaud you for this. I wish there were more people doing this too. I plan on sending cards to them, I can’t really afford too much more than that. Seems like a lot of people aren’t waiting for x-mas to get here. My daughter just found out in this last year that santa isn’t real, bummer huh?

Jessturtle, I hate to brag here, I am going to be a great aunt 4 times over the holidays. I can’t wait. Two of them are sisters, and they are literally due on the same day, and are trying to set it up so that they deliver at the same time, in the same room. Wouldn’t that be great? Family rocks!!!!!

^^ I agree with cprevite. Money Is pretty tight this year. My father took on a second job too, times are tough guys! I plan on making my gifts.. I want to paint my boyfriend something. I don’t want anything really. :-/
