IPod touch original vs 2g?

So my boyfriend just got me the original iPod touch 8gig (just week) which is now jailbroken and great. Then he goes and buys the new iPod touch 2g, which is a 16gig. He says I can pick which one I want but the 2g cant be jailbroken yet… What should I do?

1st Gen

Pros: Jailbroken
Cons Less space, no speaker, bigger

2nd Gen

Pros: more space, smaller, built in speaker
Cons: Not jailbroken (which could change soon), yellow tinted screen

I would take the second gen one, besides, expect to see a jailbreak patch eventually!

I would take the 2nd gen because it’s processor is a whole 100mhz faster than the first gen. It hasn’t been jailbroken yet (which is a huge negative for me, I love jailbreaking) but it renders 3D games and other processes much, much faster.

The speaker sucks, but it is $70 cheaper for a faster device with more functionality.

Sooner or later it will be jailbroken. I’d get it.

This is driving me crazy. Lmao. I’m so undecided:[ It’s like.. I kinda want the 2g, but I kinda want him to have the 2g. Goddamnit why can’t they both be the 2g.
