What's the most reliable way to setup iChat so that I can talk to MSN contacts?

I have a few people who use MSN and refuse to try AIM or iChat. What’s the most reliable way to setup iChat so that I can talk to them? Is Jabber the most reliable way to do this?

Ugh, file transfers aren’t supported with Jabber yet. Nevermind, I guess it’ll be a while before I find a solid client. Adium is horrendous.

I also love iChat, for the video conferencing side. I just don’t like having both open at the same time and take it out on Adium for some reason. :)
