Whenever they're ready. Each child is different & it depends on their muscle development, muscle laxity and many, many other factors. Your grandson will walk when he's ready, Mom. ::hee:

You can get a lot of valuable information on down syndrome at http://www.Livestrong.com It has a good overview as well as symptoms, signs, treatments and more.

Is the child having physical therapy? If so, the P/T can give an estimate based on her/his knowledge of that child’s development.
