Regarding pipe tobacco, is it OK to keep it in the same humidor as cigars?

In keeping pipe tobacco, could I keep it in the same humidor as my cigars? Would the flavors mix with the cigars?

I would think that you could as long as both tobaccos are similar in flavor and scent. You wouldn’t want a strong flavor to ruin the taste of a good Cuban cigar or vice-versa. Just be careful which tobaccos you pick and you should be okay.

Nope—not at all…

Pipe tobacco requires different and lower humidity conditions than cigars.

Overly moist pipe tobacco will cause tongue bite…tongue bite is actually a burn from steam, not harsh tobacco.
