In and Out or Fat Burger?

Asked by simone54 (7629points) December 28th, 2008

I’m saying the Double-Double Animal Style is the holiest of all burgers.

Of the two, I vote In and Out.

But given my druthers, I’d go to Carl’s Jr. or Wendy’s.

I’ve never been to either. Oh noez!

heh, heh, heh

Carl’s Jr. zucchini strips are the best and the fries at Wendy’s beat anybody’s.

How about Whataburger? I have a customer who takes (forces) me there every time I am in town (Dallas). But, goll dammit, the burgers are incredibly good and I am sure, incredibly bad for you

in and out, if I have to eat fast food.

fat burger hands down.

Never been to either one. But since Rusty’s is now closed, I’ll go to Whataburger.

@Sueanne, if you ever find yourself in New Mexico, try a Blakes Lotaburger with green chile and cheese. Not as good a bun as Whataburger, but still a great experience.

Somehow, I’ve lost the OMG taste sensation of In n Out, but I know they are great. Never had Fatburger.

In and Out, everything about it is delicious!

Okay everyone….

Wendy’s, BK, Carl’s Jr, McDs, and Jack N in the Box are in totally different category then In and Out and Fat Burger.

What is everyone talking about?

cookieman's avatar

Grease. Beef Fat. Grizzle. The stuff that makes the world go around.

shadling21's avatar

Ah.
I assume these burgers are from chains that aren’t in Canada? Cuz I don’t recognize any of them…

Like McDonalds, but better.

In N Out for sure. Best fast food burgers ever.

What does “animal style” mean? Are there other styles I should know of? BTW in and out has THE best chocolate milk shakes ever, ever.

cookieman's avatar

I so want a “burgah” right now! WIth fries and a frappe.

babygalll's avatar

In and Out all the way!

Once you have tried an In and Out burger…you will become addicted!

Allie's avatar

Megan64: Animal style is just a different way of preparing the burger. (And it’s goooooood…..)

In and Out

cooksalot's avatar

In and Out by far. I was rather disappointed by Fat Burger.

popo7676's avatar

I still cant figure out why so many people like In-n-Out. The burgers are so small i have to get 3 to even begin to feel as if i ate something. I have never been to Fat Burger, but i still want to try it. I prefer to go to Nations and wait 8 minutes for my burger.

miasmom's avatar

@popo Have you tried ordering a 3 by 3 or a 4 by 4…they will make the burger as big as you want at In N Out…it isn’t on the menu, but they’ll do it.

popo7676's avatar

@miasmom thanks for the tip i will give it a try sometime. Those little burgers are just ridiculous.

cooksalot's avatar

I miss In and Out Burger. WAAAAAH! That and Tommy Burgers. Need a road trip this summer I think.

St.George's avatar

Don’t forget to visit Burgerville if you’re in Oregon and have their Black Forest milkshake. Delish!

cooksalot's avatar

@Megan64 what I miss from Burgerville is those sweet potato fries. Summer will be the wrong time of year for those. Oh and I remember when I was pregnant with my oldest I went on a bing eating those deep fried wild mushrooms.

St.George's avatar

@cooksalot That sounds awesome. Too bad I’m several hundreds of miles from the nearest Burgerville.

cooksalot's avatar

Same here. I don’t miss the rain tho’. Just the sweet potato fries. hee
