How do you prevent fuzzies?

Asked by adri027 (1415points) January 4th, 2009 from iPhone

You know when you dry your sweater like material clothes (sweaters and sweats?) and it gets the fuzzy balls? Well how do you prevent them and how can you take them off your clotes?

I think you’re ready for the excitement of a fabric shaver.

Do those really work??

augustlan's avatar

They do! I’ve heard that they shorten the life of the clothing though. I have no idea if that is true or not.

Not only do they work, they’re more fun than a threesome!

I wouldn’t go that far.

If you’re putting your clothes in the dryer, I might suggest drying them inside-out. And never put high lint things, like towels, in the dryer with your clothes.

The shavers shorten the life of your clothes only because they’re already falling apart. All the shaver does is remove the part that was leaving anyway. The answer to this is to buy more expensive sweaters in the first place, unfortunately.

Now, about those flannel sheets…..
