Are the alternating answer/question blue and white backgrounds new?

Asked by St.George (5865points) January 8th, 2009

Or has it been that way all along, and I’m just not a very observant person?

They’ve been that way for a while. I couldn’t say all along, but certainly for some time now. I’d also say it is white and green, not white and blue, but I have a long history of color inventiveness.

We used to live in a blue house. Seriously. NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE ELSE SAYS. Just because my entire family happens to think the place was grey, does not mean they are, by any stretch of the imagination, correct.

It’s been that way for a long time.

Wow. Thanks for answering.

@EmpressPixie – I’d say green as well. In fact, I can’t imagine how you’d find this to look blue, while I could for grey :P

It’s been there at least since September 8th (when I joined).
I remember thinking the site was really well-designed
and how that feature was very helpful but rather unobtrusive;
that someone could quite easily not ‘realize’ it was there.
Voici! And four months later, here is the Q to prove it!

Strange though. The block right in front of me looks blue.
But if I look at it from the side of the monitor, it is most definitely green.
Whereas the blocks above or below my direct line of vision are always green.
