When are the clubs and bars closing in Vancouver?

I’m going to Vancouver on thursday. I’m living in Whistler at the moment and the bars are closing at 2 am. Is that only in Whistler or is normal for Canada

In Montreal clubs close at 3 am.

2:00 am is normal to me, here in Winnipeg. Since Vancouver has a vibrant nightlife, I’d suspect that they’d stay open until at least 2 or 3.

You could Google the specific club – a lot of bars have websites with that kind of information. If you know anyone that lives there, ask them which bar is best for which night – the busiest will stay open the latest, of course.
