Can they? I’m sure it’s possible. Should they? I don’t think it’s a great idea.

DO NOT put a Diaper on a rabbit! They will chew on it and they may ingest it and get sick and possibly die.

If you don’t want them to make pellets, maybe they are not the right housemates for you.
They have to, you know.

No, rabbits can not wear diapers. Do not put a diaper on a rabbit. Not only will your rabbit be uncomfortable, but likely it will ingest the diaper and die. Rabbits have extremely sensitive gastro-intestinal systems: they can’t safely eat just anything like dogs or raccoons.

Rabbits are very easily litter trained, but even litter trained rabbits will sometimes poop outside the box for territorial reasons. If you fix your rabbit while he or she is young, this will curb his or her territorial tendencies. Also, if you provide your rabbit with a safe and comfortable habitat, and respect his or her privacy, he or she won’t feel the need to mark his or her territory lines quite so much. You might also want to provide your rabbit with more than one litter box – one for each room he or she is allowed in.

Even if you do all these things, though, your rabbit will poop outside the box sometimes – and maybe quite often. (Rabbits are individuals, after all, with individual tendencies.) This is just something you have to get used to, if you want a rabbit. Rabbit poop is pretty inoffensive, though: it doesn’t smell (or hardly smells) and it’s formed in small hard little pellets – just sweep them up and you’re done.

If you don’t like this, don’t get a rabbit. Too late for that? Find your rabbit a good new home.

Bunny pampers? I guess you could try to engineer something that would be safe and nontoxic, but it seems like a lot of effort for a relatively small payback. Rabbit pooh isn’t that bad.
